India Post GDS Result 2024:The Indian Postal Department has declared the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Result on 19 August 2024. The online applications were invited for 44228 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), BPM, and ABPM from 15 July to 5 August 2024.

Now the candidates are waiting for the GDS Result 2024. The circle-wise GDS 1st merit list along with the cutoff marks are released by the Postal Department on 19 August 2024.

The GDS Merit list is prepared only based on 10th/ Matric marks. There is no written exam or interview for the India Post GDS Recruitment.

Next Steps for Shortlisted Candidates

• Physical Verification: Candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list will need to undergo physical verification. The dates for this process will be communicated to candidates via SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
• Undertaking Submission: Shortlisted candidates will also need to submit an undertaking as per the format provided in Annexure-IX. This undertaking will confirm their liability in case any false or incorrect information has been provided during the application process.

What are the requirements for shortlisted candidates?

Selected candidates must provide an undertaking in the format specified in Annexure-IX, acknowledging responsibility for any repercussions due to the submission of false or incorrect information in the form.
