The registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 will begin on August 24, 2024. Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates currently in their third year or higher of any undergraduate degree program or those who have already completed a government-approved degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, or Humanities are eligible to apply for GATE 2025.
Application Fees:
- Female/SC/ST/PwD Candidates: INR 900
- All Other Candidates: INR 1800
- Late Fee: An additional INR 500 will be charged for late registrations.
Exam Papers:
Candidates can choose to appear in one or up to two test papers. The combinations of the two papers must be selected from a specified list provided by the authorities.
How to Apply for GATE 2025:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- New Registration: Click on the application form link and start a new registration.
- Fill in Details: Provide details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, etc., and complete the registration.
- Receive Enrollment ID: After successful registration, you will receive a unique enrollment ID and password.
- Login and Fill Form: Use the credentials to log in and fill in your academic, personal, and communication details.
- Upload Documents: Upload required documents as per specifications.
- Pay the Fee: Pay the application fee online.
- Submit Application: Recheck all details and submit the application form.
Important Notes:
- Only one registration per email address is allowed.
- You cannot change your email ID and phone number after registration, so ensure all information is accurate.
- A form correction facility will be available after the application process closes.
